On June 4, 2026, Impact South County surprised longtime community leader Richard Stanley by presenting him with the inaugural Impact Award before a room filled with family, friends, colleagues, and community partners. The evening celebrated Richard’s decades of leadership in affordable housing, downtown revitalization, economic development, and community investment—work that has helped shape South Berkshire and expand opportunities for countless residents.
Through heartfelt tributes, stories, and reflections, speakers honored Richard’s vision, generosity, and unwavering commitment to making South County a stronger, more vibrant place to live and work. The celebration concluded with the announcement of the Richard Stanley Legacy Fund, established to carry forward his commitment to housing opportunity, economic vitality, and thriving communities for generations to come.
